I work in 2D, 3D, and Digital media. I adore innovation and I'm beguiled by great analog design and function. I've earned my BA, Credential, and MA at CSULB, learning from the best at the largest, most comprehensive, and diverse School Of Art in the USA.
I'm a founding faculty member, starting an Art program from scratch, for two schools. I've taught in urban, suburban, and rural areas; at both large and small schools, in traditional public and in charter. I'm a STEAM educator, continuing to learn and grow each year. Read my CV or connect on LinkedIn.
I've experimented with how the measured creativity of student art changes after students are exposed to a quantitative data-driven instruction pedagogy. Read it on ResearchGate.
A member of the Santa Ana Arts organization, I've been honored to participate as juror and panelist for various events and initiatives. Check out the City of Creatives, Santa Ana.
On occasion, I am honored to present some of my work at NAEA and locally to future Art Educators at CSULB.
Both my babes were polydactyly. Neither side 'fessed up about any genetic history. Surprise! They're brilliant, creative, and uniquely statistically anomalous. We celebrate difference here, and honor one another in our own way.
